An expensive lesson!
November 15, 2011 in Other
So we’ve been using re-chargeable toothbrushes for years & yet again our’s has worn itself out so time for a new 1.
Oh wow did you see the advert for the *** toothbrush? That looks good. Yeah they’ve got it in Argos half price reduced to £89.99!
Ok it’s state of the art with wireless technology telling you how long you’ve been brushing, if your brushing too hard & where you should be brushing at what time during the 2 minute cycle! I think the only thing it can’t do is cook your dinner!
So I put it on charge & opened the 3 toothbrush heads in the box ………… ok that was the 1st thing that puzzled me as there are usually 4 heads in the box, so I checked further & realised they were all different heads for different purposes. A sensitive, a 3D whitening & a floss action head.
Now all the previous re-chargeable’s we’ve brought have included 4 heads yet this seems to be a single person toothbrush! OMG we’ve just paid out nearly £90 & we’ve got to share heads???? Your kidding.
I checked on the net & for 4 extra heads (all of the same sort so the get the 3 different one’s we’d need to buy another 3 packs!) at around £12 a pack so that’s another £36 for the heads we’d need! Wow that 1 hell of an expensive toothbrush!
I contacted the company via their webpage to complain about the fact that nowhere on the product information does it state that it is only for a single user & got this reply
Kind regards,
