A very sad day.

I woke this morning after a very restless night for which I had no idea why to some very distressing news that a dear friend from Facebook had sadly passed away.
The tears wouldn’t stop falling but thankfully I had a wonderful friend holding a virtual tissue box for me via email.
Erica was only young & had so much to live for, she was a friend to everyone & an enemy of none, oh don’t get me wrong she could be feisty at times but that’s was Erica.
We’ve cried today, we’ve laughed today, we all hurt deep inside. My emotions are very raw.
I am eternally grateful for my friends.

God has his reasons, but for the most we cannot understand why.
The best die young & my only explanation to this is to make sure they remain the way we’ll always remember them, to stay beautiful & never age.


They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.


A group has been set up on facebook in her memory & although there are sad messages there are also some very funny & errrrr “cough cough” very blush worthy comments!!

Although I did not know her, but an acquaintance through the games,
wall posts and discussion boards, I always seen her name.

Many tears have fallen tonight for a sweet lady gone
in the hearts of many, her memory will live on,

Take a moment and tell your friends, what they mean to you,
share with them the kindness, that your hearts will find.

I wanted to say to all of you here,
you are loved and cared about by many more then you know,
Smile and laugh, continue to be who you are
for here on Facebook, you are loved near or far ,

Friendships have bloomed, secrets have been shared,
but most importantly, you showed them you cared.

Whisper a Prayer for dear Erica tonight
Hold her in your heart, and smile through the tears,
tell your friends you love them without any fear.

We all have different memories of our time knowing Erica, we’ve all laughed with her, alot of us have cried with her, but 1 thing is for sure we’re all better people for having known her.

My heart goes out to her family, her friends her darling little Roxy & pray they can find peace in knowing how much she was loved by us all.

Erica your smile is etched on my heart forever. Go in peace sweetie xxx
