Coffs Harbour

Tuesday 14th Dec 
After a rain filled night we set off in near clear blue skies to Coffs Harbour, We found the next site very easily right on the edge of the Pacific Highway! We parked the van & went of to explore the area & find the beach. We found the shops no problem but as for the sea …………. now that’s another story!!! We walked & we walked & eventually found the sea & was slightly disappointed to find the beach surrounded by rocks. 

The surfers that we’re out didn’t seem to be having much joy in finding decent waves. 
We stopped off for a drink at the yacht club  

& then we decided to get a taxi back into the main shopping area. We wanted FUDGE, but the shop had sold out!

For tea we found yet another cheap steak house, which was also an Irish bar & headed off there later. After enjoying our meal it started to rain & boy did it rain, it got to 1 stage we really thought we were going to have to get a taxi back to the site but thankfully it calmed down. 

The evening’s entertainment consisted of a guy doing a trivia quiz, which we declined to join in with & thank goodness we did, we got a few right but most of the other 5 teams seemed pros!!!
