Caramelised Red Onion Chutney from English Provender Company
June 25, 2012 in Blog, Food, review
I was kindly sent a jar of Caramelised Red Onion Chutney from English Provender Company to see what I thought.
On first opening the packaging I was impressed how simple yet elegant the jar was, I’d be perfectly happy to just put this straight onto a table without the need to decant it into a different container.
It’s so versatile you can serve it with both hot & cold dishes. I’m a bit of a nightmare for making up weird concoctions for sandwiches & this didn’t disappoint me with it’s ability to work with other ingredients.
A few examples of my use of the chutney:-
Served with steak a lovely accompaniment.
On a sandwich with roast beef & horseradish.
On Swedish rolls with cheese (I actually managed to take some pics before I ate them!)
I loved the simplicity of the chutney & will be keeping my eye out for their other products.

I was sent a jar of Caramelised Red Onion Chutney by the English Provender Company for purpose of review but all opinions are honest & my own.

I love red onion chutney. I like it with corned beef in a sandwich.
