Completing the Puzzle by Amanda Egan

June 6, 2012 in Blog, review

Today saw the Amazon Kindle launch of Amanda Egan‘s third novel Completing the Puzzle.

Along with Amazon Kindle it’s also available in paperback at Lulu where you can also purchase her 2 other novels.

I have previously reviewed Amanda’s previous 2 novels Diary of a Mummy Misfit & The Darker side of Mummy Misfit so have been waiting very un-patiently for  Completing the Puzzle to be released. Amanda had teased us all with the 1st chapter of  Completing the Puzzle which you can read here.  Amanda has decided to go in a different direction with Completing the Puzzle from the “Mummy Mistfit” books but from reading the 1st chapter I can tell this is going to be yet another great book.

Here’s a short synopsis of Completing the Puzzle.

Middle aged and middle-of-the-road,
Fee Crawford has been drifting through life in a passionless marriage
and hurtling towards the menopause.
With her twin boys grown up and needing her less,
why does she still feel incomplete?
Coping with her elderly dad, increasingly distant husband
and flighty best friend, Cordelia,
her life seems to be spiralling out of control.
Will a chance meeting with a handsome vet
be the missing link to make everything fall into place?
From the author of the ‘Mummy Misfit’ books comes:
‘COMPLETING THE PUZZLE’
A tale of families, love and mid-life crisis.
If you’ve never checked out Amanda’s blog please go & have a read, but 1st can I suggest you unplug the phone, get a box of tissues, a glass of something by your side (Babycham or Moet goes down well!) & maybe a few nibbles as you’ll be hooked once you start.

You can purchase Completing the Puzzle by clicking on the Amazon picture & her other 2 on the links above.

I’m trying to resist reading it till I go away next week but it’s killing me not to start reading it now, but I know there will be some late nights reading it cos I wont want to put it down till I get to the end!

I spilled my heart to Amanda here (she’s the “type” of person who makes you feel you can tell her anything & nothing will shock her). After she posted that article I found I could be more open & published this letter on my blog.

Amanda is already onto chapter 6 of her new novel, she just needs to pull her finger out & get it finished cos i’ll need it in about 2 weeks!! Lol no pressure Amanda!!!!

Amanda & I have had a lot of laughs chatting (I know it’s hard to believe it’s hard to believe I would chat!!) & trust me you’ll LOVE her books. #Baggiesbeta never lies about these things.
