On Monday 19th July 2009 Fairy Buttons was born ………… who I hear you ask is Fairy Buttons? ………. read on & all will be revealed!

Fairy Buttons aka Crunchie! Fairy Buttons is her Kennel Club name. She comes from a long line of chocolate named dog’s the list includes:- Wispa, Fudge, Twix, Smartie, Rolo, Cadbury to name a few.

We couldn’t decide on a name for her so asked our facebook friends for their suggestions, most were chocolate related but we had 1 friend who suggested a man’s name! Crunchie was our favourite & with us also not living far from the Cadbury’s factory at Bournville it made sense to us so Crunchie it was.

She was actually my birthday present from Ian & the best present ever.

We picked her when she was 4 weeks old, well I should say she picked us! She crawled over my leg, curled up & fell asleep! Then slept for ages in Ian’s arms, they do say the dog chooses the owner & we’d been well & truly chosen!
