Easy Peasey Snickers Cookies
October 24, 2012 in Food, Recipe
I decided to experiment today & make some Snicker Cookies, having trawled through the internet all I could find were American recipes so I decided to “create” my own version!
Here’s my recipe:-
250g Butter
300g Self Raising Flour
100g Caster Sugar
3 or 4 Snicker Bars.
Method:-
Cream the butter & sugar together in a bowl & add the flour, mix well.
Chop each Snickers bar in half lengthways & then into varying size pieces till all the bars have been cut up. Add to the cookie mixture & stir in well.
Take golf ball sized pieces & place on a baking tray, they don’t spread much so there’s little chance of them joining up whilst cooking.
Now my oven is temperamental so it’s only on about 140degrees & these took about 12mins to cook.
You know your oven so work at the temperature you’re happy with!
Now for the finished results:-
How yummy do they look with the caramel just starting to ooze out?
With this mixture I made about 20 cookies & I’m sure they would keep for a couple of days in an airtight tin, but mine are going with Ian to work tomorrow, along with some of my yummy Lemon Drizzle Cake.

Another ‘Easy Peasey’ recipe. It’s so brilliantly quick and looks yummy.
Fantastic recipe – definitely giving this a try
