Interflora have come up with a new concept for an unusual Halloween idea.
Glow in the Dark Roses.
Interflora kindly sent me a bunch of 12 Glow in the Dark Roses to see what my reaction was.
I was quite excited from seeing the pictures & couldn’t wait for them to arrive.
This is what I was expecting:-
This is what arrived:-
They were a lot greener than I excepted them to be but they were still a pretty colour, something a bit different.
The Roses were beautifully packaged & I very nearly kept them in the delivery wrapping as they looked so nice.
They were in a plastic pot with water in, which kept them fresh & there was a cardboard surround that kept them upright.
I’m not sure what the actually put on the petals.
Quote :- ” The bouquet is created using natural Avalanche roses with a secret patented formula.”
So roll on the dark!
This is what they said they should look like:-
I’m not sure how they got the pictures, but they must have an amazing photographer.
I struggled to take a decent picture of them in the dark as you will see.
I had to take them into a totally dark room for them to “glow”, when I actually thought they would show up by dimming the lounge lights. I personally think I was expecting too much from them.
Quoted :- “The stunning white Avalanche roses make a lovely display during daylight hours – but when night falls, the roses give off an entrancing green glow. It’s the perfect gift to celebrate the time of year. Featuring white Avalanche roses with green salal (plus a touch of Halloween magic).”
Sadly as I said before I didn’t experience a the green glow unless the room was pitch black, but they are certainly something different & a great talking point.
I think I put my expectations to high.
Thank you to Interflora for sending me these Glow in the Dark Roses for the purpose of this review.
