What kid doesn’t like a trampoline?
The lovely people at Big Game Hunters The Trampoline Shop sent me a gorgeous 8ft trampoline, in pink.
Delivery was very fast. It was ordered on the Friday & arrived on the Tuesday. I was emailed to inform me during the whole process what was happening.
The delivery driver was great & took the massive box round the back into the garden.
I started to put it together but as the instructions stated it needed 2 people to assemble the legs! But I got it all ready & Ian & I put the legs on in the lounge.
The next day I headed off outside & put the base together myself, then put the mattress on, which was actually easier than I thought as you have a tool to enable you to pull the springs & slot them into the holes in the rim. Next I put the mattress edging on & clipped it all in place. Then the rain started, so everything stopped.
The next day I managed to get the side bars all attached & yet again rain & wind stopped play!
We were then subjected to high winds, rain, then frosts for a few days! My neighbour made me laugh as she asked me what it was in the garden & had it blown in there! Now I know the wind was strong but I think if a trampoline that size had blown into the garden, we’d have no fences left!
The net really needs 2 people to put it up, I tried my best alone but yet again, rain forced me to call it quits. With work constraints it means Ian can’t help me as by the time he get’s home it’s dark & he’s been working all weekend or we’ve been at football so it took a while to complete it.
But it’s really well made & so sturdy. My friends daughter had a good old bounce on it, but sadly yet again it was cut short due to the weather! Rain, rain & more rain oh & wind! It’s the story of our life at the moment.
I took loads of pictures but my memory card decided to die on me so I have only got the pics I took when it was nearly finished.
I’ve semi dis-mantled it so we don’t have to walk on the grass during the winter so I can’t get anymore pictures until the spring/summer when it’ll be put back together.
