BzzAgent:- Colgate ProClinical Electric Toothbrush Review
January 4, 2013 in review
Having been using an different brand of electric toothbrush I was keen to try the Colgate ProClinical electric toothbrush.
The instructions were not as easy as I have previously encountered with an electric toothbrush & it did take some getting used to. It takes 16 hrs to charge but it didn’t seem to hold it very long at all. The brush ran out without warning after only a few uses & with a family of 3 using it it would need to be charged every few days. My main complaint is there was only 1 brush head included & for a toothbrush that costs over £100 it does feel rather stingy. I’ve not been able to locate any replacement heads so can’t compare the prices. It’s fairly awkward to use as you need to keep your head upright for it to work properly, which initially resulted in a very unattractive toothpaste dribble, but I learnt to use less toothpaste to stop a lot of this. I would’ve like it to have had both a battery indicator & a timing indicator so I knew how long I had left on each section of my mouth. I was planning to use this for travel but sadly as the charge doesn’t last long I wont be as I don’t want to have to take the charger with me. For me to plug it in, it has to sit on a floor on the landing & with the brush heads having no cover on, I either have to leave the brush in the bathroom or pick of fluff & dog hairs before I can use it again, which obviously isn’t ideal. Personally I think there are other brushes on the market that do the same job but cheaper.

I was given this toothbrush to review by BZZAgent too and I must say I was very disappointed with it.

I’m glad I’m not the only 1, for the price it’s really not worth it, even hubby took a normal brush away with him rather than this!
