Have you ever seen your Doppelgänger?

The definition of a Doppelgänger according to Wikipedia is:- 

“In fiction and folklore, a doppelgänger (German, literally a “double goer”)  is a paranormal double of a living person, typically representing evil or misfortune.

In modern vernacular it is simply any double or look-alike of a person.”

I read an article in The Sun newspaper today about a Canadian photographer François Brunelle.

François Brunelle has spent 12 years tracking down 200 sets of identical strangers. Initially he photographed people for his project called “I’m Not A Look-alike”  News spread & he had volunteers from Europe & his native Canada. To quote François “I feared some people might be spooked when they see their doubles. I thought they might be in a state of shock” you can see some pictures & read more about it here.

Now this is very close to my heart as I came face to picture with my doppelgänger!

We were in a tea plantation in Sri Lanka, when a few people  started to look & start pointing. I started to get paranoid & wonder what they were looking at. Then someone took me to a picture they had in the tea plantations shop.

OMG I could’ve been looking at me! It was really weird, the lady was also wearing the same colour top I had on that day as well! Like her I had my sunglasses on top of my head & my wayward hair was sticking out at the back!

Sadly we didn’t take a picture of me next to the picture, but I did take a picture of their picture of her & I’ve made a collage for you to compare.
