I had so much fun going through the different designs trying to find just the right one, there were so many, I think I changed my mind about 6 or 7 times! Ordering was quick & easy & so simple to add a picture to your order.
It get’s delivered straight through your letterbox (hence the name!) & comes with a gift tag & even a packet of little Love Heart sweets.
And here’s Ian in all his glory, the picture came out better than I expected & it looks really good. It’s nicely packaged a I know it was put to the “drop” test as my postie launched it into my porch & it survived, I did cringe a little when I realised it had been “delivered” with such gusto, but it was in tack so proves it does with stand heavy knocks.
It comes with a handy piece of paper which means it’s easy to remove from the tin, also there is a “super dry” packet attached to the lid of the tin.
As they say the proof is in the tasting. Bakerdays sent us the basic Madeira sponge cake, I thought it was very nice, soft & spongy & nice & fresh tasting, Ian said he’d have liked it a bit sweeter, maybe with some jam or his ideal buttercream in, he’s a buttercream freak & normally has a bit of cake with his buttercream!
Happy Valentines Day Ian.
