Slumberdown has recently set up a panel of mums to review their products & I’m pleased to tell you all I am 1 of the lucky mums chosen.
Slumberdown kindly sent me a pair of Anti Allergy Pillows for me to review, now I don’t tend to sleep too well & for the last few years have flitted between different pillows, the last 2 sets of pillows I’ve brought have been memory foam & 1 wasn’t too bad but the luxury one’s we brought were terrible. I suffer with neck & backache & never seem to get comfy & wake several times a night. I also suffer from hayfever and had noticed it had started to hit me & I was so blocked up even my doctor said he knew I needed a new prescription cos I sounded “thick”!
The best pillows we had were in a hotel in The Gambia & I would’ve loved to have had room in the suitcase to bring them home with me.
When I opened the Slumberdown Anti Allergy Pillows I was surprised just how soft & fluffy they felt & wow really big! I like to be fairly high and these 2 pillows looked huge next to Ian’s single pillow but he stood no chance of getting 1 of these off me! They filled the pillow cases. I couldn’t resist having a quick lay down to test them & although I did sink into them, they weren’t too soft to completely disappear!
Morning 1:- Well that was the best sleep I’ve had in ages. I slept all night & didn’t have neck ache or backache when I woke up, I also noticed I wasn’t as blocked up as I had been over the last week. Do I now admit I didn’t even wake till nearly 9am? That’s totally unheard of for me as either my neck, back or blocked nose makes it uncomfortable to stay in bed.
Morning 2:- Yet again it was 9am before I woke up! And again no aches or bunged nose! I was expecting to be bunged up as we’d been doing some clearing out the day before with lots of dust but it didn’t affect me at all.
Morning 3:- I needed my alarm to wake me, well it was Monday & back to work but yet again my nose was clear & that was after me sitting in the garden on Sunday afternoon.
So here we are after nearly a week with my gorgeous, wonderful Slumberdown Anti Allergy Pillows and I’ve not taken a hayfever tablet since last Friday morning and my pillows are still as fluffy as day 1. The great thing with the pillows they are machine washable and they can be tumble dried (at a low temp).
Thank you Slumberdown for giving me such a restful sleep.
