The Luck Uglies by Paul Durham – For age 9 years plus

I actually started to read the book myself and before long I was at chapter 6! How did that happen, I was meant to be giving it to a friend for her daughter! I actually got really stuck into it and didn’t feel like I was reading a book for someone a heck of a lot much younger.

So far I’m really enjoying it and not sure I’ll be passing it in till I’ve finished it.

I have a copy of The Luck Uglies to give away to 1 of you.

Sherlock holmes is what I like
To find out who murdered the victim that night
So many different characters to choose one is so hard
All we know is the victim was caught off guard
Perhaps it’s the gardener with his so many tools
Perhaps it’s the owner with his so many rules
You never know until it’s the end
And then you find out it was just his friend
