I’m sure I’m not the only person to admit that I HATE cleaning the floor. We’ve got laminate in the hall and kitchen and tiles in the bathroom, conservatory and utility and I hate cleaning them with a passion. It’s so much faff! So when Spontex asked me to review the Spontex Full Action System, well I didn’t jump at the chance, but I was keen to try it out.
Spontex Full Action System is a sort of all in 1 system, the bucket includes a wringer, which wets the mop and with a light lift the wrings it out so it’s not too wet on the floor.
Personally I could’ve done with a few more instructions as to how to fit it all together, but once you work it out, it’s fairly simple, but it did take me a little bit to figure it out.
When it came to mopping the floor, it was a breeze. I was a little concerned as the mop is totally round and wasn’t sure it would do the corners very well, but it did.
When you clip in into the bucket, you use the handle to make it spin, both in the water and out of it, that worked well and was easy, but I found the top of the handle kept popping off. But I soon got the hang of it and it soon stopped popping off as I was holding it wrongly (whoops).
With it’s self wringing method the Spontex Full Action System used just the right amount of water, it didn’t take long for my floors to dry, which was good as Crunchie was being a pain trying to get back through the house.
OMG how yucky does that look?
I’m not going to say that the Spontex Full Action System has made me love floor cleaning, cos I think you’d have me committed at that point, but it has made cleaning the floors a lot easier.
