Vets Food World. The one stop shop for all the food you buy from your vet for your pet. They set up the shop to try and save pet owners money as we understand the specialist diets that your vet can recommend for your pet’s condition can be extremely expensive.

After the rough weekend we had with Crunchie and her fit it was lovely of Vets Food World to offer her some lovely treats. I popped on to their website and found it really easy to negotiate. You can click on the main animal at the top of the page for animal specific food or the accessories, sale or features tabs for more great products.

Now Crunchie loves her Kong toys so I chose the Kong Jump’N Jack (Large) as I know these are virtually impossible for her to destroy!

As you can see she couldn’t wait to get into it! It’s great as you can use it as it is or put treats in it, Crunchie isn’t fussy either way she just wants to play with it!

It’s really well made and very tough, the ridges hold all different types of treats in it, which will keep your dog busy for ages (I wont say hours as I can’t guarantee that!)

Kong ridges

As you can see from this video it goes in random directions when thrown, which keeps Crunchie on her toes!!

Crunchie also tends to suffer with itchy skin during the summer especially when she’s been to my dad’s, which we think is down to the long grass she runs through. I chose the Hills Science Plan Canine Sensitive Skin 3kg for her to try.

The 1st thing I noticed was just how easy it was to open the bag, it was a tear strip and also has a pop close top to the bag so it keeps the contents fresh.

Stay fresh closure

Now Crunchie isn’t a greedy dog but when we introduce new food we do it gradually or she just eats and eats till it’s gone rather than the grazing that she normally does, but from her first taste of it she likes it as she wont leave me alone and keeps going to the kitchen and standing by the bag!

We’re lucky and can leave her food wherever we want to and she wont steal it, only if it’s in her bowl will she eat it. I know not a normal lab at all!!
